Application Updates

Notice to clients - Disruption to Support Services on Friday 18th May 2012

As a key element of the CSC integration process, we need to upgrade and relocate our Data Centre,
which contains the servers that host our support services.

Pleasingly, this move supports our company plan to centralise and improve our support capabilities for you, our clients.

As a consequence of this relocation, there will be an interruption to our normal support services on Friday 18 May,
when the physical move of the Data Centre occurs. Throughout this day only, our usual normal lines of communication will not be open to you.
We will we not have email, internet or the usual number of Support phone lines operating.
However, we will have two (2) emergency phone lines open for critical issues.

We ask that in the event you encounter non-critical product issues on Friday 18 May, that you kindly refrain from logging the issue until Monday 21st May.
We will then have all lines of support communication restored, with full functionality and our fabulous service team available.

If you do encounter a critical issue that cannot wait until Monday 21st May, please call us on 1300 301 692 or 1300 364 747.
As always, we will do our utmost to respond to your call and promptly resolve the issue.

New practiX version 1.37.12 released
The new practiX version 1.37.12 is now released
Book your upgrade now by calling primary care support or downloading the upgrade request form at the bottom of this page.
Listed below are the main features and fixes in this build
New Features
Select schedule from the drop-down menu
SMS - ability to send SMS reminders to clients for appointments, recalls and
reminders and ad-hoc messages. Also receive and action reply SMS messages
PDF Results Viewer- now able to view results in PDF natively
Waitlist appointments - changes made to this section allow for more control
and seamless appointment making. You no longer have to wait to delete or move an appointment

MIMS July 2011 Update
The latest MIMS Update is now available for you to import directly via practiX.
Administration>System Configuration>Health Records>Download MIMS
Select Modify
You will receive a Please Note Message advising you this may take some time to run as the MIMS file is a large file - If you are happy to download please select YES. Otherwise run this after - hours.
The MIMS Update will start to run and you will receive a Complete Message.
Close and Re-Open practiX
You will receive a prompt that the new MIMS Version is available - Select OK and the Workstation upgrade will be run.
You have now updated your MIMS.
(Please note this process only needs to be run ONCE either on the Server or a Workstation. All other Workstations will be automatically updated once practiX has been closed and re-opened)

AHSA Fee Updates via practiX
The AHSA Updates for July 1st 2011 are now available.
Following these instructions will enable you to import them directly via practiX.
Administration>System Configuration>Billing Setup>Price Update-Published File.
Select Price Update - Select Australian Health Service Alliance - (FOR YOUR STATE) from the drop-down menu
Update Method - Select Download via Internet
Tick the box marked - Add All Available Item Codes
Select Process
You will receive a Query box, asking if you wish to proceed. Select Yes
A processing item code progress bar will appear. Once the update has finished you will receive a Price Update Complete message.
Your AHSA Fees have now been updated.
